ART021 Shanghai, french galleries at fair

This year, ART021 welcomes at the Shanghai Exhibition Center, international galleries for this new edition. What are the exhibited french galleries this year ? The fair has opened its doors two years ago with a collectors preview. Public days begin today.

An officially sanctioned project of the 17th China Shanghai International Arts Festival, ART021 is a fair who strives for excellence, professionalism and a high level of quality. This year, ART021 is further raising standards by presenting a larger number of prestigious galleries with a wider range of works, and highlighting its public artworks, new media and video works.

But who are french galleries presents at this fair ?

First, Chantal Crousel gallery (presented at FIAC last month) exhibits for their first participation at ART021 on its booth (B-09), a selection of works of artists of highly diverse, sharing in common the exploration and a revelation of the essential values that underlie contemporary society : David Douard, Haegue Yang, Heimo Zobernig, Mona Hatoum, Melik Ohanian (Marcel Duchamp Prize 2015), Anri Sala, Danh Võ, etc.

Next, the french gallerist Emmanuel Perrotin (located in Hong Kong, Paris and New York) presents on his booth (B-07) his favorites artists like the french artist Jean-Michel Othoniel, japanese artists Izumi Kato, Aya Takano, Mr., chinese artists like Gao Weigang, etc. The french gallerist Edouard Malingue (located in Hong Kong and Paris) is present at ART021 this year with his artists.
