“Éclectisme 2016” at Galerie Jean-François Cazeau

On the occasion of the FIAC 2016 in Paris, Galerie Jean-François Cazeau, located near the Picasso Museum in Le Marais, is pleased to introduce its new exhibition “Éclectisme 2016“.

This group show is composed of a dozen works on canvases by contemporary artists, mostly from Asia and Africa, confirmed or emerging : Sudaporn Teja, Sohan Quadri, Ko Young Hoon, Xing Kia Ye, Aboudia.

More, the gallery exhibits its sculptures in Central Asia and Southeast (Khmer, Bactrian, Burma), and blends the sculptures to the painted works to form this eclectic and refined atmosphere, unique to Jean-François Cazeau.

The ultimate aim of the exhibition is to show the importance of complementarity that could come from an association between contemporary painting and art of ancient civilizations.

All works in this exhibition were chosen for their spirituality, as highlighted by the presence of sculptures as paintings on canvas.
